Have you ever fractured or broken a bone while playing sports?

Knock on wood, I haven't torn my ACL so far. Having played both basketball and volleyball, I have torn my ACL before.

Nope, and knock on wood, I haven't broken a bone at all. No idea what it even feels like though I can't imagine it's a good feeling.

Funny enough, my youngest brother has a bone disease that makes him highly susceptible to broken bones and he has had tons of breaks from fingers, his clavicle, his orbital socket, legs and ribs. He's gotten to the point where he just keeps going with it unless it's seriously hurting.

I remember once we were in the yard throwing a football around with my other brother and he broke his finger trying to catch the ball. All he did was look at it and said, "yep that's broken" and kept going.

My feet have (congenital) issues- makes it hard to get a push-off with my toes curled under instead of outward, along with weak arches.

I’m pretty sure i fractured my right pinky corpa in a fight, though it wasn’t sporting.
I dislocated my pinky toe on a toolbox while dashing through a dark room to close a window in a heavy thunderstorm.
I tore the meniscus in my knee while running. It wasn’t an event. I was just training.

Your ACL isn't a bone. It's a teeny tiny tendon. But yeah, I broke 3 ribs in a mountain bike fall. Broke a finger jamming my hand into a wall playing wallyball.

On the upside, I've taken falls at 70+ mph on skis lots of times and rolled to my feet and kept going. I've jumped out of planes and helicopters a thousand times into all sorts of terrain with only some bumps and bruises and minor cuts and scrapes but a fair amount of swearing.

nope.. I have not had something like that happening to be me before, I've seen it happen a few times... but never to me

I had a broken nose from getting elbowed in the face. Then I had a crushed urethra that caused me to be in the hospital for a month
