Okay, gotcha now from the update. Your example would certainly be awful. Mental conditions, like alzheimer's and similar, would also be horrible.

Not knowing your loved ones anymore.

Yeah I saw my grandfather from my dad side suffer strokes after strokes. To point at the end was just lingering.
