What does being a dry drunk really mean after quitting alcohol?

I gave up alcohol
And things are much much better
Not perfect
I heard about this thing "dry drunk"
I think it's where you didn't drink but still full of resentment and bitterness?
And wondering if that applies to me

Being a dry drunk is even worse than being an 'actual drunk. 'At least if you're drunk, you have a excuse for acting like a dick.

If you take a drunken asshole and sober him up you’re still left with an asshole which is probably what keeps him drinking

It means you act like you when drunk. If you were bitter snd resentful when drunk then it's accurate?

Drunken behavior is uninhibited
Over the top
And sometimes blackout, can't remember what happened

Dry drunk is obviously different
