Does anyone have any experience?
How can I get through this?
Depends on what stage of abuse and/or addiction you’re in. It’s definitely not unusual. You can talk to your doctor about some antidepressants or beta blockers or something. But if you tend to have an addict personality, you could get hooked on them too.
Consider modifying your diet for enhanced energy and mood. See a psychologist, or use a journal to help clear your mind of negative thoughts and feelings.
Go to AA. There you’ll find dozens of other people who are in various stages of going through what you’re going through, or they’ve already been through it; sometimes more than once.
And do the work. It’s extremely rewarding to know that you can do what must be done to serve your own best interests.
Not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me for it to be a possible outcome, since it was a big part of your life before. Find other coping methods with life or ways to feel good to replace it that are healthy.
It will just take time I imagine till you get used to it. You can look up on reddit if others have experienced this too.

Get out and do something and mainly work on yourself. Go to an AA meeting or several of you think it will help you. Find sober people to hang out with. Quitting alcohol can wreck you physically and mentally but you will feel so much better later and it is well worth it. Good luck
Yes. Alcohol consumption triggers the release of endorphin and dopamine from your hypothalamus ("happiness" hormones). With sudden alcohol withdrawal you now have a deficit of what you are used to.
Could be a withdrawl effect.
From the alcohol or from social activities you are now participating in less...
Alcohol itself is a depressant
No I not seen it happen
