"shes my baby...and wanna protect her"
Are you protecting yourself from whooping cough?
"shes my baby...and wanna protect her"
Yes I was vaccinated for Pertussis. My microbiology professor use to read the death records to us on how many people died from preventable diseases each class period. Pertussis (whooping cough) is one of those preventable diseases that kids today still die of in the western world because some parents are too foolish to vaccinate their babies, because they are scared of autism or government conspiracies. =/
Whoopdee doo for whooping cough.
I've had it with vaccines. Funny but my mobility issues (dizziness, balance) didn't start until after I got my H1N1 vaccine. After that I realized, I don't want anymore vaccines. They might kill me.
My wife and daughter didn't get the H1N1 shot and they'r ejust fine. No more vaccines for me.
I don't *think* that was one of them on the list of needle jabs I got as a child (I just had to go through all that for my grad school health form)
I have no intention of being jabbed for it either. I didn't catch it during an outbreak of it in my hometown while I was in high school. I'll take my chances
I haven't seen that ad, lmao. But at my last doctor visit they asked if I wanted to get a tetanus vaccine because I'm about due for one. So I just went for it and got it, but it's a vaccine for tetanus in combination with whooping cough, so I'm covered. =P

will never protect myself against it. my mom did when I was younger but now as an adult I dont. there's really no need since its more dangerous for babies
I do not get vacccines.
Please watch this 8 minute video.
no. I don't believe in getting vaccinated for the flu. it just gives it to you! I can do just fine by preventing it myself. which I usually do a fairly decent job.
p.s. I love how a guy answered c! ha ha that's awesome.
Whooping cough is not even remotely related to the flu, and the only reason these diseases are so rare these days is because we vaccinate against them...not because you re awesome at preventing them.
Sorry but god I hate ignorance...if everyone thought like this we d be moving backwards.
I did. I think you have to get it, no choice. For little kids I think you need it if you want to go to school.
Yeah, public schools are usually pretty strict on that, or at least the ones in my area are. Certain vaccinations are required by certain ages to enroll, or something like that. I obviously had a vaccine when I was a kid, but they recommend that you get certain vaccinations again as an adult. Tetanus and pertussis [whooping cough] are some of the ones they say that about, so I just got it since I was already at the doctor and my insurance covers it, lol.
I think most people get their first whooping cough shot when they're really young, possibly in infancy because whooping cough is really dangerous for babies. And I don't think it's 'required' for the rest of your schooling, because I don't remember ever getting one. I just read the info paper they gave me when I got my shot last month, and it says they recommend getting a 'booster' dose of the vaccine every 10 years or so.
No I have not received the vaccine but I know it is required for students kindergarden - 12th grade.
whooping cough? lol I didn't realize it was the old west.
I honestly can't remember if I was vaccinated or not, but I'm pretty sure that I was.
I think I had a vaccine for that.
what? never saw that ad
yea I think the ad may be region based or something because I see it ALL the time on this site
lol
It was in my vaccination packet, I'm pretty sure.
