Do you like spicy / hot food?

Honestly I can't can't handle most spicy stuff :( Unless I'm equipped a few glasses of water or milk...

How about you guys? What are some of your favorite spicy foods? And do you like to use hot sauce and stuff like that?

I was raised on hot peppers. I was eating halbenaros as soon as my baby teeth came in.

I don't mind spicy food, it's actually a good since of self-abuse (in my opinion) and it helps the body (as long as you don't eat too much.

I don't really like hot sauce but I do like adding fresh peppers to tacos and such like that.

That's so intense... the only peppers I can eat are those green bell peppers, haha.. good for you! I wish I could handle spicy a little better.

Yep! I use cayenne pepper, hot chili flakes, Sriracha, actual chilis [whatever type I picked out], and various other hot sauces to some degree, in pretty much everything I cook, haha. Not all together, generally. =P But there's always some heat in my food.

yes I love spicy food, I think the most delicious spicy food are thai, I love the taste of their food and the spice is perfect it tastes good and doesn't choke me.

you sometimes drink milk with your spicy food? I've never heard of that before. Won't milk spoil the food in your stomach?

Well, milk neutralizes the hotness / spiciness on my tongue a lot better than anything else does, even water. I can't remember where I found it out from, but someone recommended it and it does help.

One time my friends made an Indian meal that was really spicy, and for some reason we were all having beer with the meal... it was just awful, lol, I don't know how people can do that.

Haha, beer is just not thirst-quenching! Or most other alcohol for that matter... I need some water with me at all times. :x

It's not the spice that does it for me. I can handle hot food until it cuts my breath off. It's the undesirable taste associated with spicy food that I dislike. I don't know if it's just me but EVERYTHING spicy has a weird, strong taste to it that I just won't deal with.

I like a certain amount of spice but things that are overly hot I don't like. I don't try to eat as hot as I can stand because I enjoy flavor of food much more than spiciness. My taste buds are kind of sensitive so too hot isn't enjoyable for me.

Too much spice usually means for me that I can't even enjoy the flavor underneath. :(

But it really depends on what food it is. I don't like peppers because I think they taste gross. And I don't like salsa...or any kind of mexican food to be exact. I know I'm a weirdo.:/

I'm Indian so my parents and grandparents make really spicy food

I can take it but I don't think it tastes nice

the chilli just takes over the whole flavour

but they could just be crap cooks

Love it :) I'm Sri Lankan, and most Sri Lankan food is spicy as hell. I'm weaker than most my family, but I do orrite. Spicy Mexican food is awesome, too.

I'm Asian so I'm pretty used to spicy foods. It's so awesome. I hate having mild stuff, it just doesn't do it for me.
