How to gain muscle and loose fat?

This is for all the fitness gurus out there:

I need to gain weight and get stronger for football next year. I've started working out three times a week, and I've been eating a ton. In the two weeks since I've started, I've gained almost five pounds and gotten a bit stronger. I'm happy with this, but I feel like I'm holding onto the layer of flab which covers up my abs. In fact, it may be getting bigger. I like the weight and strength gain, but what foods can I eat to replace the fat with muscle? I've been drinking tons of milk and cut out soda, but I don't think it's enough. I'd really like to get a sixpack! Thanks!
