What are some good healthy cheeses to eat? Is provolone a good one? cause that's my fave of the bunch.

If you limit yourself and don't go overboard then of course its healthy. All cheese are high in fat but a good source of protein so make sure you don't eat too much. Its not as healthy as snacking on a fruit but its a lot more healthier than most snacks. Provolone is probably the best one. Its usually made with more skin milk than other cheeses, so less fattening.

compared to other snacks, yeah. but cheese isn't naturally stringy like that so a lot of additives are put into it to make it that way. string cheese is more cheese than say American Cheese, but you're better off having a slice of havarti or jack cheese because that's actually REAL cheese that hasn't been fussed with.

I believe the stringiness actually has more to do with the cooking and stretching process as the cheese is prepared, which affects how the proteins line up.

If you are comparing it to other handheld snack items like a snickers bar, then yes. Plus it is so fun to peel. I always try and get the smallest strings possible. When you focus your attention on eating like that, you actually enjoy your food more and consequently eat less.

If you don't eat like 9 of them then its reasonably healthy. Not too many calories, good protein.

As tasty as it is, it's not the healthiest thing to eat. It's processed cheese. A better cheese to have is Swiss or Feta, I am not sure on the other cheeses.

I think it's pretty healthy. It has protein, and your body needs a certain amount of fat. But make sure it doesn't have tons of additives- those can detract from the health benefits.

Probably not as good for you as real cheese is . But it's definitely a lot better than snacking on cookies or chocolate

String cheese mostly protein. Good stuff. Regular cheese is mostly fat but still has a good deal of protein in it.
