i have an appointment for xray but its not till next week!
anyone experience this before? do I have an athletes leg?
You could have a stress fracture or something. If you're not used to being on your feet all day, and then suddenly go to 8+ hours, those things can happen. Over time, you will build more of the right kinds of muscle and it won't be nearly as bad, but still, being on your feet for that long is always hard. I was a waiter for a couple of years, and a cook before, and those jobs, especially waiting tables in a busy restaurant, was tough.
so I just have to wait it out?
thanks so much! will do
yeah and x ray would be good. an MRI would be great as well. it's also not good to be on your feet 8 hrs/day. hope you get better
wow this question was from a long time ago ahaha, thank you for responding the xrays were fine but I had to go to physical therapy helped I guess, but after working I got used to it and now I'm fine. I try to walk around a lot and not stand in one place
no problem, do you have less pain if you wear athletic shoes or athletic shoe inserts? I had a job before that required a lot of standing. I was wearing casual dress shoes & my foot, ankle and calf area began to hurt. I used comfort inserts, and it helped. But when I switched to a good pair of trainers, I didn't get any pain.
glad you're able to manage it. Curious, what did they do in PT?

It could be your posture. If you're putting more weight on one leg repeatedly, it might affect it.
