Doing what sport gives you the nicest body?

What gives men the nicest body? What gives women the nicest body? What do you think?

It depends on their current composition. So an answer that tackles both sides of the scale.. running (track / cross country, for the high school sport name). >:)

Running short distances is a great way to gain muscle and running long distance is one of the best ways to shed fat.

It also depends on how extreme you are with the sport. E.g. Elite long distance runners although sexy in health and spirit, do not have bodies that demonstrate that. However, your typical high school/college/amateur long distance running girls have super attractive bodies.

There are a lot of things to factor in.

To be honest, bodybuilding is the sport that gives you the nicest body since it is the sport of building your body :/ and at an amatuer level, just as with most sports, can be extremely attractive. But I felt like that answer might be cheating :/

So..

Men:

Short distance running (slim strong build)

Bodybuilding/Weightlifting (strong, pec-tacular build)

Most other sports incorporate these 2 above to achieve their looks/strength/conditioning (soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse, tennis, wrestling, volleyball etc..) with some exceptions (e.g. swimming, horseback riding, bowling, golf, etc..)

Women:

Short distance running (slim, curvy build)

Long distance running (slim build)

Bodybuilding/Weightlifting(strong, curvy build)

^all extremely attractive in their own ways.

For guys definitely swimming and wrestling. I don't really know too much about women's sports but I'd assume anything with a lot of cardio would be good since girls are more concerned with slimming and toning instead of building a lot of muscle like guys.

For guys, I'd say triathletes have the best bodies. It might not be fair to say that cause it's 3 sports actually but if I need to cut down, I'd say track or swimming for men.

I'm a swimmer but I wouldn't say it gives women the nicest bodies. It tones the body immensively of course but the end result probably isn't what most women would consider the most attractive body ever. From swimming and track, I have large and toned arms and shoulders, very powerful legs and an overall strong body. My shape isn't lean though. I'm 130 pounds at 5"7' but I don't look thin at all. Swimming has kept my curves but built my muscles, so I look rather bulky despite my low weight for my height.

Probably running (long distance) makes you lean... for muscles and definiton it'd have to be dancing for females, or if you're into BIG muscles then gymnastics

For a woman, dancing(especially contemporary), cheerleading(not a real sport but ya know), soccer

For men it's soccer & baseball

For women maybe dancing, gymnastics, I did horseback riding for years and that really toned up my arms.

As for men.. hm.. wrestling, swimming.. really any sport tones up some part of your body.

You don't need to play sports to get a nice body. But swimming would probably be the best for your health due to the low impact nature.

Soccer or tennis are the best overall cardio workout sports, so they tend to give you a balanced, not overdeveloped physique without much fat!

For women, probably dancing (I don't know if that's considered a sport or not) or swimming.
