How come my body is growing out of proportion?

I do total body workouts in the gym (circuit training) 3 days a week (timed sets) and I go for long walks almost everyday. This is really my only exercise I do. I've since added a little bit of muscle everywhere, but my calves, shoulders, and those muscles that make the area under your arms look like "wings' (don't know what they're called) seem to be growing much more in proportion to everything else. Why is this? Is it unattractive to guys? And if it is, what can I do to balance it out?
