Do you buy "real" food brands or knock-off brands?
But it's a lot cheaper.
For me it totally depends on the item. Some things I'm picky about, and will buy a certain brand [could be big name OR knock off] just because I like it better, even if it's a little more expensive. Most things though, I'll opt for the cheapest brand or what is on sale, whatever that may be. I get my rices and pastas and some spices and things like bouillon from the bulk food section, because the grocery store I usually go to has a huge bulk section with great variety, so I get them way cheaper and in larger amounts than if I bought them prepackaged.
Mostly store brands because most of them are made by the name brand companies. Yeah, they are usually the same things in cheaper wrappings. There are some things that aren't, like toilet paper and beer. I found that the majority of foods I make myself from scratch from farm fresh products and I freeze &/or can them. That is the best quality & the cheapest. As far as store brands vs. name brands, I prefer most store brands because they don't waste $ on ads & put the $ into the food.
I buy most food from restaurants. Only thing I regularly get from grocery stores is iced tea, and I definitely want Nestea for that.
I said B. I try to buy real food brands but some knock off stuff is pretty good so I get those when I've tried and liked them.

I'm a student, so B. I'll buy the knock off brand if it's not too different to the real thing. My parent buy (almost) only real brands.
It is about 50/50. You can't get good peanut butter that is a knock off and many other items. Knock off brand soda, jam, jelly, crackers, cereal are ok.
Only real
I know, it's illogical to be so picky but it's mental for me
all depends I like the taste of some knock brands better then the real so both.
I prefer brand but lately I'm low on money so I get knock off and. Some products are close to the same
I'll rarely buy a "real brand".
D...its cheaper.
