I'm 19 years old and I've been vegetarian for 2 years now.

The thing is I admit before I become vegetarian I used to look at vegetarians has this obsessed fundamentalist animal crazy animal lovers, so I asked to myself if others see me like this. I could never in a million years saw myself has vegetarian because I

I am a vegetarian as well hooray! I confess though I like to eat some fish every once and a while so I'm not a pure vegetarian. I try to eat vegetarian as much as I can most of the time though.

I think I would like to being a relationship with a vegetarian as long as she doesn't make me feel bad for liking to eat fish every once and a while.

I guess it depends on why she is a vegetarian because there are many different reasons why someone becomes vegetarian. I am one mostly because of environmental reasons and health reasons.

Won't lie, the few vegan fanatics out there ruin it for most vegetarians who are just normal people like everyone else. You'll run into people who will make assumptions about you off the bat.

From what you described yourself, you seem more a typical vegetarian than the minority who garners all the negative attention. I think once a guy gets past his initial defensiveness, he'll have no problem dating you.

No, I would date a vegetarian. I would not be comfortable if she pressured me to give up meat, and I would eventually try and find out what led her to the decision. But, it makes you a little more unique and it wouldn't stop me from dating, how shallow would that be.

the thing is that vegetarians look at us as animal eating beasts

so its hard to get that thought out off the mind

I work for a meat wholesaler/butcher and I think as long as she doesn't look down on me for it, nor try and get me to change I wouldn't have a problem
