Do women find football players attractive?

being that the season kicked off today I had to ask this question. Is it a plus if a guy plays this sport rather than others. curious to see how many women like football also I know that is rare.

It doesn't really matter to me either way- football is not a sport I really enjoy watching so it doesn't make a guy more attractive, but it doesn't make him less attractive either.

Now, being a Canadian girl, I'll admit a guy playing hockey is a plus but not a necessity. I'm not what you'd call a puck bunny (girls who only date hockey players, hang around rinks trying to get with the rising stars)- but it's a kind of bonus if I find a guy attractive and he plays hockey. Same with if he's into the same books/movies, likes camping etc.- not essential, but nice to have.

Now, I'd imagine there are women who feel this way about football players, just as there are probably women who are the equivalent of puck bunnies only with football (although I don't know the term for it lol).

The term is cheerleader, or succubus. Women that are interested in a guy because he may become a professional athlete, are just gold diggers in training haha.

lol,well I've heard different terms for different sports. Lacrosse= lacrosstitutes, rodeo= buckle bunnies, baseball= ball bunnies etc. Just not sure what football is..

i like soccer and basketball. id like to be able to play sports with a guy I like, so football is less appealing to me, I stopped playing it when I was 12.. and I've lost touch. in addition, football players are often fat. muscly but fat. that's not attractive.

Different positions on the field require different skillsets, so players will be built differently based on the position they play.

yeah but being bulky is always usefull in football. I'm not into bulk. plus I'm not experienced playing it. so it wouldn't be fun for us to do together.

Well I think it's cool if your boyfriend does a sport that you like to watch but are too scared to do yourself or just suck at it.

I like football, so ya that would be a plus, but not better than as if he was playing any other sport I like

Just depends where you are from, I'm from a small town in Texas and its like a religion that guys must play football. If you don't play, you look like a p**** or unable to do anything. I personally think soccer is gay but some girls in different parts of the country might like it. Just enjoy playing football man, girls will only side track your love for the game. I also participated in 3 other sports, but the only one that I ever loved was football.

It is, especially in school. the girls always go for the jock, despite that fact that jocks are more likely to beat their S/Os. That's why there are so many battered women in this world. If girls were smart, they'd go for the quiet nerd in the corner who will treat them like gold instead of the muscle bound A-holes.

i don't have anything against it but I find other sports much sexier...like cross country, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, snowboarding, basketball..but of course you can make any sport sexy, as long as you're good at it...ex. if you're going to be a chess player, be the top chess player in the league. that's hot...

playing football usually has nothing to do with it

i mean, it can make you look fit and healthy

but any sport can do that :)

In my opinion football players are really hot, it may be their skills, the fact that it reflects talent and somewhat intelligence and quick thinking or that it shows they’re athletic. So far all the guys I’ve ever liked have always been excellent football players. I’ve only recently understood this pattern. Overall, it does make guys more attractive for me, but my friends for example have dated guys who didn’t like playing football and by the looks of it they were still liked

Girls are probably just more attracted to guys that are in shape. Football players come in a variety of physiques some of which are pretty unathletic

because its ugly... and not comfartable laying under. plus I'm strong but very light. play fighting with a huge guy, is not really going to be fun. he'd have to holdback. which is boring.
