I generally don't listen to too much about politics in this sense since it's so hard to seperate the truth from the lies.
In the area of using harsh intterogation techniques, I'm all for them. I say we cut their fingers off one by one until they tell us everything, then move onto the toes, if it gets far enough move onto the third leg, then the 2 normal legs, then the arms, then finish off with the teeth. if he still won't talk, put a bullet in his stomach and throw him off to the side with the rest of the trash.
I'm sick of the political correctness and high moral standards that this whole country follows, it's one of the bigger reasons that we're in such a situation with terrorists, we keep trying to be better than everybody else naturally we're gonna p*ss off some people because they're gonna feel like we're showing them up, american arrogence.
Anybody can say what they want to and call me a terrible person and evil and that I need to seek christ to "heal my broken soul" but I'll hide behind the first ammendment like everybody else who has a differing opinion.
I think Congress didn't do their homework when it came to the Bush administration's presentation about the threat in Iraq. For her to say that is just passing the buck trying to weasel out from responsibility for properly researching the evidence and making the best decision possible. Their voice was generally ignored, but experts on the Middle East all over the country tried to let Congress know that the link between al-Qaeda and Iraq was imaginary and that there was not strong evidence that Iraq posed any serious threat to US interests. My degree is in Middle Eastern studies and I wrote to every one of my congressmen and the White House but got virtually the same answer from all of them--"We think that there is strong evidence of a credible threat, blah, blah, blah."
It is disingenuous and plain and simple excuse making and the political blame game to claim the Bush administration mislead Congress. They turned off their brains and didn't properly research the issue or voted in favor of the war out of fear of being perceived as weak or unpatriotic.
I'm sure the Bush administration lied, they lied to the whole country to start a war. I do wish that the Dems had done a better job of seeing through them. And if they did see through them, I wish they'd had the courage to say so.
No, she's complicit with all the torture and lies and mass killing. Wouldn't now the truth unless it was a cobra coming after her...

I honestly don't pay attention to these tit for tat games that these schmucks in Washington play. I'm not going to get distracted by the rivalry of the two parties while there is much more important sh*t that concerns me and the rest of the 300 million Americans.
