That was a difficult question to answer and it is hard to deal with a question like that without offending people. I would also question that statistic - in order to get immigration to canada at least you have to be able to successfully answer questions about the culture and history of Canada - so whether you are literate or not - if you are American you should be able to find the U.S. on a map if you are American.

The super bowl was terrible from a competitive standpoint (but I hate Denver so it's all good) but I expect those Miss Teen contests to be sad from an intellectual angle. I doubt the girl that was blathering in your link could find America on a map too.

I voted "B". At least the Broncos were going up against the toughest team there is (and thus have some excuse). Was Miss Tean South Carolina going up against the toughest question there is? No! That question wasn't even particularly hard.

I'm not even a football fan, and I can see that it was probably the most pathetic game ever played. Embarrassing for the Broncos, for sure.

As far as the pageant, lol! I have seen that numerous times before and can only say that she was put on the hot seat with that question. However, it can be seen as a negative reflection of either the education system or of her lack of effort in school.

But the MOST embarrassing? The Broncos losing with barely a score.under their belt. I mean,they have Peyton Manning who is SUPPOSED to be THE man and yet,he let them all down.

I think that was way more embarrassing than the super bowl. I was kind of hoping for a sinkhole to open up mid game and swallow both teams. That would have provided some real entertainment tonight... haha
