Do you need a license to go jet skiing?

Me and my friends were thinking about renting a jet ski for when we go to the beach for spring break. But not everyone has a drivers license. So does that mean they can't drive a jet ski?

some places you need a license , I know in Canada we do have boat licenses however there sort of a joke and only require a short written test to get one .

In California no. I don't think you do in Texas either. That would be rather ironic if you did.

Not to my knowledge but I'm not sure of what your local laws are. Best bet is to google it.
