If you’ve been saving all your life to retire together, would you buy a decent sized property with an SO or travel?

Whst do you consider various decent sized property? I already have a half acre property in the suburbs that I built my house on. It takes 2 hours to cut and trim the lawn using a ride on lawn tractor.

I like both, but smaller property and ability to travel. however, has to be a place I like staying else I'd rather have space. I like space between neighbors.

Like I just found out I'm going to be moving yet again... military lifestyle, we live 2 to 3 years at a time util we finally get to not be forced to go all over the place constantly. It's a case of one's trash is another's gold I guess.

My boyfriend is a private contractor and has contracts for a year at a time all over the world. He’s since stopped doing that and wants to settle in one place looking for a UAV job. Until then he can’t plan his future

I mean I lived in Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Australia, where I have to go places like the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Thailand... and now I'm getting moved around in the states. I would just really like to lay down some roots and not have to keep moving around.

I just got informed that I have to move from here in Bremerton WA, to Newport RI... rent is like twice now. I can't plan or just settle because of this lifestyle.
