Can I get some drawing tips?

I'm trying to work on improving my drawing skills, I used to draw comics a lot in high school but my anatomy skills leave a lot to be desired. I'd love it if I could get some good reference sources for dynamic poses as well as any tips you have for me.

My skills haven't really improved from when I was 16 as I've invested more of my time into writing than drawing as I came into adulthood. Now I have a story that would be AMAZING as a comic but I don't have the money to afford to pay a good artist to help make it, and my drawing skills are definitely not matching the images in my head. Any tips you have or resources you could share would help a lot! Thank you in advance!

You can find places on line for drawing still life and the body, etc.
However, part of mastering it is giving yourself a project. Have an image that you want to capture and then capture it. That's what I did in the mid-1990s to practice getting better at my drawing... and I did get better although, I must admit, that I have no natural talent. So, to see the images I'd want, I would really need someone who has talent.

I do have a book somewhere, but my wife likely packed it and has it under the house so I can't tell you what it is, but it definitely helped me with understanding human body ratios.

Thank you for helping me get that visual, I guess I can poke around in bookstores or hobby stores to try and find some reference sources. I don't suppose you know of any online sources I might use to find references to help improve what I'm doing?

Consider looking at real pictures (or pictures on DeviantArt or whatever) and try manually replicating them. That helped me.

For the book, consider using a program like Poser or whatever is the "best in class" software is now for something like Poser.
