I don't really go camping, but my wife does a lot. She just came back from a 10-day trailriding trip in Great Smoky Mountain National Park with her horse and 2 of our dogs while I stayed home to babysit our 2 cats and 6 other dogs.

However, in July 2020, we needed to drive 12 hours to Texas with the horse to get it measured so she could have a custom saddle built. So, I went with her sleeping in her living quarters horse trailer. It was a nice 3 days.

It's been too long since I've been camping, 15 years probably.

Tornadoes seem to follow me around when camping, though.

I was never actually hit by one, but I've had many close calls.

Oh yeah, floods know I'm coming, too. I've been flooded out of many a campground.

Never. It's not the norm where I live (South-Eastern Europe), but I would like to. Well, maybe glamping would be more my thing. :D

Technically, sometime in the early `90's. My future ex-fiance and I spent the night in a sleeping bag in her bag yard. Otherwise, round about 1972. we spent the night next to a creek in Slippery Rock. The next day, we went for a short walk next to the creek and I slipped on a rock!!

Probably this weekend.
I have a trailer that I stay in when I work at the racetrack.
Better than a tent, less than a hotel, better than driving back and forth every day I work.
It is 90 minutes each way.
I'm not sure if it counts as camping, but I think it does.

Just made it back from Yosemite yesterday. I spent four days hiking and enjoying so many the waterfalls. We slept the tent cabin there. The first day it rained all day and night. We loved that. I'm so thankful 😊😊
