Well not exactly camping in a "campground" setting with picnic tables and bathrooms and showers. But yeah, I've spent a lot of time from about age 14 backpacking and mountain climbing in wilderness areas. Solo and in groups. And for 15 years in the military I lived a lot of time sleeping on the ground in all kinds of terrain. Tents, tarps, and bivvy sacks are all familiar shelters. Multifuel stoves, isobutane stoves, alcohol stoves, bear canisters, backpacks, topographic maps, and a compass are all old friends.

I went last week. My favorite part is just the high I get being outdoors. My least favorite part is cleaning up when returning home.

Ohhh yeah. I was born to camp. I grew up camping and raised my kids camping. My favorite part is the family time and my least favorite is a tie between the bugs and the dirt.

I’ve gone tent camping I’ve gone deep into the wood camping with horses. I’ve stayed in log cabins I’ve slept out deep into the woods with no tent and no sleeping bag and no covers at survival school And we weren’t allowed to have campfires either

Yes a child. It didn't take more than a weekend to realize I hate camping.

Camping is one of my favourite things to do, although I haven't been in a while. I've got installed my new rooftop camper, so will be going on a solo camping trip one weekend real soon 😊
