Have You Ever Done Date-Style Activities Alone?

For example:

A new release in theaters

Going to a museum or special exhibit

On a tour

A coffee shop

Dinner at a nice restaurant

A picnic

Ice skating

A bar

Dancing

And so on. In order to count, no staring at phone during said activity! :D What did you do and how did it go? :D

Yes I did. I did some of the ones you mentioned and I did also some small trips by myself, to mountain or lake or in places I wished to see.
It went well, let’s say I lose the part of “no staring at phone” since I’m a bit dependent from notifications, but some of them were good as a little detachment from technology and routine, for example in mountain there’s poor connection.
In general I enjoyed it but I tend to do things faster if I’m alone and enjoy less my time there. If I’m alone I tend to walk faster, stay less in points, don’t take any distraction aside the thing I’m doing… while when I’m with other people there’s always a reason to stop or to divert from the path.

I've only went to a restaurant alone once. I felt out of place. I know you shouldn't, but the immature part of me would rather not go to a social environment without someone else, even if the food is better than my own cooking 😂

Other than that, I've been to a theme park on my own as well a few times when I was younger (I had a seasons pass at the time).

But the only thing that I consistently do which I would count as a date, but also as a solo activity is go for hikes. So that doesn't really count 😅

Oh yes!
I wasn't going to just stay home alone and watch TV.
My favorite place to go was to watch the comedians perform their comedy routines on the stage in the lounge at the Holida Inn Hotel. There was one close to where I lived.
I love to laugh and be around happiness
I don't drink anything but orange juice when I go to places because I don't drink.
I never felt awkward going there by myself.
I would also go out to eat somewhere nice if my son didn't feel like going with me. It didn't bother me at all.

Oh yes all of them. Except skating.

I go dancing at clubs 2 or 3 times a month. I go cafes and meals by myself. Sometimes take my laptop and study. But doesn't bother me to sit and eat alone.

Cinema... alone is the best!! Haha. Terrible place for a date anyways.

Picnic I go with my dog...

Tours and museums not really my thing but I wd go alone for sure. It's not that hard finding other people to talk to either. Maybe cos I'm a receptionist? I'm used to being sociable and talking to strangers.

I do those things daily. I don't need friends or a boyfriend to do them. I enjoy movies by myself. I enjoy going go-cart and mini golf by myself. There's always people around so I can chat with if I'm in a social mood.

I get afternoon tea, macaroons, and bubble tea all by myself. I go to the beach and get surf and turf by myself. I swing in the swings watching the waves and looking up at the stars at night.

I collect sea shells and if I go to a museum, I go alone bc there's lots of good food and drinks around. The art is also nice to look at.

I am OFTEN approached and bothered by people encroaching my alone time. If I give access to my energy, I may allow a few interactions but for the most part I enjoy my solo dates.

My idea of a date is staying at home playing video games, and I've done that alone very often, so yes.

I don't really do the things on your list except museums, and thats something I don't view as a place to have a date. When I'm at a museum I'd rather study. (I do watch movies but I wait until they're on DVD/Blu-ray).

I thought about using an arcade as a date location, but ultimately I'd prefer dates had complete privacy, so I never really understood why people like going out for dates.

possibly strangest was when I was dating a girl from Denmark, we arranged to go for a meal at same time, her in Denmark and me in England, we also went to see same movie as well, same time etc. randomly weird

I have big man responsible jobs to do like errands and being sociable with pals and work and taxes.
Those things may not seem so glossy, yet it's also the reality of, at times I sometimes see a movie alone, sometimes I go to a cafe alone,
Sometimes I just drive alone.

Many times. I traveled a lot on business, to foreign countries, and I have had a my own date activity. It was generally fun, getting to experience new cultures, meet new people, etc.

I have. I like taking walks through a park. Look at the sunrise/sunset. Go dancing (when I was single and friends were busy), pretty much everything you listed, sides iceskating.

Yes I have done, I've done coffee shops, nice dinners, picnics and museums all alone and I have enjoyed them.

The others aren't my sort of thing tbh. And I would honestly love to be able to go on a date to a museum as I imagine it would nice being able to have someone to talk to while there and talk about what you see and learn instead of well just having myself to talk to with thoughts and that.

I have plans to go to more museums they are a favourite place of mine.

Of course, when I had the money to burn I would always take myself out for a weekly lunch date at a local restaurant. Nothing fancy but I had time to enjoy myself and the food was good. I used to do movie dates too, it's nice to treat yourself.

I’ve done all those things alone and more and I’m married. 😂 they’re quite fun when you don’t have to wait on anyone or follow anyone else’s schedule.

Yeah, some of these activities, especially day trips. Ironically, I often met women while doing these activities. Of course, it wasn't planned.

I prefer to go to movies alone so I can focus upon the film. Museums and First Thursdays Art Walk in Laguna Beach are fine solo. I've gone to Coliseum Grill on Pelican Hill alone.
