I liked Mal Waldron (Malcolm Earl), a solo pianist, although he sometimes teamed up with other artists. He could play for 10 or 15 minutes just around a string of notes. I saw him live in concert on a small stage. Literally Malcolm, his piano and around 20 fellow students. He sadly passed away in 2002.

Love it. I actually have a few jazz playlists at downloaded on Spotify, with none of the artists or names of the songs I know 😂 All I know is it sounds good to me, especially when the vibe is right. I've played them for family at dinner conversations a few times.

Yes. Went to a jazz club earlier this year. We always mean to go do it more but a lot of time slips by before we remember to do it.

We do live music of pop and rock more often. We just saw Bare Naked Ladies, Fastball and Sugar Ray live this summer. 90's music. We go to orchestra concerts from time to time too.
