As a child, everything material, musical, artistic, poetic, tactile, imaginary, dietary, and experiential made me happy. Over 80% of my teachers wrote on my report cards that I was an enthusiastic student. With bullying and verbal abuse, my joy disappeared, but I began to see it return in recent years. A $1 coke from McDonalds at age 6, brought more happiness than a 3 day vacation to San Francisco does as an adult, because when I became an adult, my senses and emotions became weaker.

Rediscovering joy is like finding a hidden gem from childhood. It might feel buried under life's challenges, but it can shine again. Embrace the little things that once sparked happiness, like gaming, exploring new hobbies, or just savoring a simple moment. Connecting with passions and sharing them with loved ones can reignite that joy. Surround yourself with experiences that speak to your inner child and let those feelings bloom. Gaming, for me, is a perfect escape back to those childlike moments of wonder and joy, and it might be for you too! 🎮🌟
