Whose music stands the test of time better? U2 or Sinead O'Connor?

I love those Sinead O'Connor vocals

Sinead had one album that had significant impact. U2 had around 10 albums over a 25 year period, and for nearly a decade were the biggest tourist act on the planet.

There is really not much of a comparison. Sinead's cover of Nothing Compares To You is as good as it ever was, but nothing else in her catalog has held up. Even if you don't like U2, most English-speaking people would be familiar with at least 5 U2 songs, and lots know 10 or more.

The math only supports one conclusion.

And Bono was a great networker

On the other hand Sinead was a beautiful soul with a beautiful voice

I still think in 50 years time we'll remember Sinead more

I can literally only remember one song of Sinead O'Connor, which I happen to know was written by Prince. I declare U2 more memorable, although they've done nothing good in the last 30 years.
