I am not super into anime and I read more manga than watching anime, and I am not a trekkie although I consider them great scifi series. Esspecially TOS was way ahead of its time.
Otherwise I do all of those even though my "cosplays" are mostly orginal characters for larp less pop culture characters.

Honestly, the nerdiest hobby I’ve ever seen (and love) is D&D-style tabletop role‑playing mixed with homebrew worldbuilding 🎲✨

People write 100‑page lore documents, hand‑draw maps, paint miniatures, build terrain, and track spreadsheets for imaginary economies. It’s part storytelling, part math, part acting, and part crafting.

As a gamer, it feels like turning a video game RPG into real life with friends, snacks, and way too many dice 😄

I don’t think any are automatically always nerdy but I think any of these could be nerdy if that is how someone approaches it, like if they treat it as more important than things that are objectively more important in life. For example if you flunk out of school bc you are playing video games all day. JMO!
