Ever heard of larping (live action role playing)? It’s way nerdy. By far the nerdiest thing I’ve ever witnessed. It’s like grown adults dressing in cosplay and acting out D&D or Final Fantasy or something like that. First time I saw it, I just stared in total confusion wondering what the hell was going on.
Playing pen and paper role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons :)
No haha all the guys i've seen who like D&D seem more nerdy to me...
Though they're both quite nerdy.
Do you do them :P?
This is all I have to say lol
Dressing up. It has to be. Because it involves no effort other than for you to flex your memory on the lore of the characters world as well as said characters personality. Everything else in the poll is a decent pastime because through it you gain experience or knowledge- you don't live it out.
Coding lol
All though I've made it a part of my career so it might make me $

Out of these, chess seems like the only classically nerdy thing.
Collecting shit and playing video games makes you a 'loser', not a 'nerd', get it straight.
Although like... comic book collecting is a close second for nerdiness.
Hahahaha

Saying that I used to play it myself and loved it! :) My boyfriend plays it regularly too!
I couldn’t vote. All those activities could be considered nerdy. But why so intent on labeling? You do know that nerds are the richest people on the planet right?
Some of these were geek habits but playing dungeons and dragons or being a chess master for fun is super nerdy even tho I'm cool and have a lot of high up social status friends I love chess
I do almost all of those and I take it as a compliment when someone calls me nerd so I didn't vote for any of the above.
Regarding your update, there are very stupid cam girls trying to look like "gamer" girls with their shitty cosplays of some champs from the games for their porn videos etc. and even they say "they collect video games" so please... like it is definitely mainstream.
A lot of people have nerdish tendencies that they do behind closed doors, but I picked A cus thats a little too out there for me.
I picked the TCG because that's something I can't see myself doing, ever. But I'm a nerd-geek hybrid, so there's that. xD
I play competitive chess and we are all big nerds. lol
Playing pen and paper role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons
100%
I do a lot of these. I'll happily admit I'm a nerdy girl. Though I'm only decent at chess.
DnD for sure. I never understood the popularity of that game.
I love that you choose the 40 year old virgin for the miniature aha
Proud nerd here! Dungeons and Dragons player and DM since 1989.
I was going to say studying but pokemon or cosplay is the nerdiest
I think the role play gaming. It's like pretending you were someone else.
You forgot larping. I'd say that takes the cake.
Collecting miniatures is nerdy
If you're a pro at chess teach me lol
It's between A, B and G for me
Pen and paper rpgs
They can all be considered nerdy but I just find paper and pen rpgs to be the most when compared to all of the other categories.
Playing card games and cosplay.
Honestly I think it's cute when I guy is a nerd
