Am I wrong for refusing to let a coworker use my personal iPad?

So, the traffic when I head to work is pretty bad, so I always leave extra early, just in case. There's a nice little cafe next to work so I grab a coffee then sit at work either surfing the net or reading books on my iPad until it's time to start my shift, and I usually do the same on my lunch break.

Yesterday, I realised I'd forgotten to charge my iPad before I went to bed, so when it was time to start, I put it on charge in the break room.

Later, when lunch breaks started, a coworker asks over the staff radio "hey what's the passcode to the iPad?" and I asked "why?" and they said "I want to surf the internet on it during my break" and I refused and told them to use their phone instead , they got really annoyed and said I was being selfish etc and the ipad is a bigger screen and better to use, and I'm not using it right now, just to let her use it, and I refused and now they're giving me the cold shoulder.

My manager is "staying out of a private conflict". Did I do anything wrong? Co-workers are split, some on my side, some are saying I should just let her use it, but I said I have private information on there, others said it shows a lack of trust of my co-worker.
