Has anyone completed a perfect low-level run in Chrono Trigger or other RPGs?

I'm trying to win a "Start With the Wallet" Challenge on the Free to play Nintendo DS version of Chrono Trigger. This means my final party will be levels 1 Crono, Level 1 Marle, and Level 10 Robo. (There are 99 character levels in the game, and most people finish the game with a level 45 to 50 party on their first or second play-through.

Here's the problem: Beating "Magus," the required mid-game boss, with a level 1 party is nigh to impossible, but just barely possible if everything goes right and you prep with lots of speed tabs and magic tabs. So that's where I'm stuck in the play through. I'm using "New Game Plus" to build up extra speed tabs and magic tabs, because winning without them requires some extreme luck on the Random Number Generator.

Has anyone else ever played a Perfect Low Level game in a major RPG franchise?

Games I've done perfect low level on:

Baldur's Gate 2 (hardest video game challenge EVER for perfect low level. I beat the final form of Irenicus using a level 7 party).

Final Fantasy 1, 4, 6, and 7. Of these, "1" is by far the hardest to win, while "7" is by far the easiest to win.
