Oh I have the perfect example.
I was never a fan of The Peanuts, but I did watch it (we had so few channels back then), so this Vince Guaraldi song connects me to my childhood, and the peacefulness of Christmas:
And right now, these are some of my contemporary favourites:
Carol of the Bells thebirdandthebee
Love Actually (8/10) Movie CLIP - All I Want for Christmas is You (2003) HD
https://www.youtube.com/embed/_ghkHlthIqMPopstars - I believe in Christmas
Reminds me of the last year we spend Christmas as a family.
On a Christmas Eve evening a few years ago, I had the opportunity to sing White Christmas in front of over 100 people, including many friends. I created my own Bobby Darin-like arrangement and was accompanied by a fantastic, old school jazz pianist. It was really well received.
Rocking around the Christmas tree makes me think of watching Home Alone with my mom.

I like Hark the Harold Angels Sing cause it’s the first Christmas song I learned on the piano and reminds me of Christmas cards and movies I watched or received as a kid
This Christmas - Donny HathawayMy grandfather used to drive my sisters and I around the city to look at the decorations and Christmas lights everyone adorned their houses with when I was younger. This song would always play on the radio during the holidays, so it was pretty much on repeat in the car😌
'Underneath the tree' is a song I associate with being snowed in while visiting my family in Connecticut. I would love it because we would have to sleep over on Christmas night from the snow and my cousin had this weird boom box thing with a Christmas CD. 'Underneath the tree' would be blaring at like 1 am until our parents told us to shut up. :)
White Christmas
One, we never had snow here so i always laugh about this and two, i remember mornings when i was a kid and my mom would play this really loud while we set up Christmas decors. Those were the good old days.
Also Here Comes Santa Claus bc my teacher had us dance to this in 5th grade in front of the whole school and i thought we looked liked idiots with our reindeer costumes. Then that same year all the malls keep playing it just to rub salt to the wound. *sighs*
