What’s the latest you ever had a trick or treater?

I shut the outside light off at 9pm. Next time, turn your light off. That means "no trick-or-treaters".

Yeah. Back when we got a lot. Some years we ran out of candy. Went to bed. Or just were not participating for one reason or another.

Some kids…. Would STILL ring or knock.

But yeah. If I forgot to turn the light out or I was up. I did not mind.

Yeah. I think I have had some past 11 before. Not so much anymore. Hardly anyone trick or treats in my area anymore. I guess they go to the rich areas now.

I owned a place Downtown in the first neighborhood then. I am surprised I never had 2:30am ones. ;-)

My compound did a thing where the teens could trick or treat as late as 11:30. I was one of the said teens, some houses even gave out special candy packs for us. (I got a lot of liquorish)

Defense had trick or treaters after 9. Most of the younger kids went home and went to bed probably by 10. So between 9-11 it was mostly older kids and teens.

After 10. It was much fewer and farther in between and as you said older kids and teens and I suspect sometimes even young adults.

But there was some younger kids after 9. But not little bitty kids
