I don't recall the name, it was many years ago , Kris Kristofferson and I don't remember the female lead were captured by native Americans, back in the days of settlers. To entertain the chief and his gang they related the story of Christmas (fortunately they spoke English) when they got to the part about the virgin birth , after explaining it in detail, the old chief looked at his group and asked" Mary told Joseph, God had made her with child, And Joseph believed this , the Indians got a big laugh about that.
I grew up watching these when they are on every Christmas.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman
A Christmas Carol (Featuring George C. Scott)
A Christmas Story
The Polar Express
A Muppets Christmas
Muppets Christmas Carol
Mickeys Christmas Carol
The Santa Clause (Tim Allen)
Santa Clause the Movie
A Boy called Christmas
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street.
The Little Drummer Boy.

This one...

And this short, simple, sweet lyric is my favorite Christmas song...
There are two movies I watch almost every Holiday season:
"It's a Wonderful Life" - gotta like Clarence the angel getting his wings
"A Christmas Story" - "you'll shoot your eye out" is a classic movie line
I don’t think I seen that one. Elf is probably my favorite. It never gets old year after year. Christmas vacation is another one I love.
Yes it is
It's a wonderful life.
White Christmas
IAWL- Factoid - It was HOT in CA when they were shooting the film!!!
Had to mock up a three-block long set with "imported" snow!
Don't watch Christmas movies much, so don't have one.
"The best man Holiday". Monica Calhoun should have won an Oscar for her performance. I mean she succumbs to cancer but the beautiful part is her character Mia and her husband Lance NEVER stop living and loving eachother. Monica refuses to let her illness define her. And it's a reminder to us all how short life is. In the end whether you live 1 year or 100 years. It's how you live that matters. And since this takes place during a Christmas reunion it's a reminder to us all the True meaning of Christmas. That God gave his only son that we all might have eternal life.
I shall look that one UP. xx
There are a lot of Christmas that I enjoy a lot. I couldn't come close to remembering all of them.
One that hasn't been mentioned here is Trading Places.
And a real odd ball that's definitely worth checking out is Hogfather.
This is my most favorite Christmas movie of all time. It not Christmas till I watch it, I have to watch it every year
What's sexy about this old movie
I have watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas, & I enjoyed it so much has to be my favorite Christmas movie. It’s up there with, The Polar Express, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. My favorite time of Christmas is spending time with the family & eating some delicious food, watching some Christmas movies.
The 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street. White Christmas. I'll take some heat for this but I hate, loathe, detest the movie Elf.
Why do You have such negative feelings towards the film Elf? Personally, I liked it, but The Polar Express was my favourite.
@HippieVeganJewslim... great question. It feels forced. Will Ferrell is a gifted actor, but I don't like the character of Buddy. To me, he is vile and that pretty much colors the whole movie for me.
Nu, you shouldn’t blame him. He lived most of his life in the North Pole. I see the childishness, but vile?
@HippieVeganJewslim... it's all good. Not a movie I like. 🤷🏻♂️
I respect Your opinion, but how the heck is he vile? Christmas films ain’t my favourites either, by the way. I love the adventure, romance, and action, like in The Princess Bride.
@HippieVeganJewslim... all of how the character is played as the overgrown child, the food, the incessant neediness, the overly big actions, etc. Not saying those things are vile in general, but combined together in that movie is vile to me.
I see. So Buddy’s childishness makes You think of vile things of him.
i remember watching one called Christmas EVERY DAY once. i hate Christmas movies but this one was actually good. no romance or comedy, just a good storyline and fantasy.
Christmas Story 💞

I love watching A Grandpa for Christmas. It’s such a heartwarming movie. And I love the Home Alone movies! They’re so hilarious. Another one is Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.
I usually don't watch Christmas movies, so I don't have a favorite.
I watched the Disney movie that had Kurt Russell as Santa. Even though I don't like too many Christmas movies, I liked this one.
Better Off Dead, Miracle On 34th St., Meet John Doe, It's A Wonderful Life and Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
I guess I missed the racist part!
Aside from the classics, one that came out last year called "A Boy Called Christmas." A very interesting take on a certain myth.
It's a wonderful life to scrooged to the Danny devito as Christmas Christmas light crazed can't remember the name
Yep 👍
The Muppet Christmas Carrol will always be a yearly must watch!
Santa Clause The Movie from 1985, just watched it again yesterday with the kids it’s like he’s the real Santa lol
What is the Jimmy Stewart one where Clarance gets his wings?
"Miracle of 34th Street" (1947)
I typoed...
Miracle ON 34th Street.
34th Street is rather nice, by the way. Macy's is there at Herald Square and, this time of year, they have all sorts of wonderful animated window displays. If you ever get a chance to go to Macy's in Manhattan, do so. It's not hard to find; practically next to the Empire State Building and not far from Penn Station.
I have three all-time favorite Christmas movies, and no particular order:
1) Elf
2) Christmas Vacation
3) Die Hard
“A Christmas Story”
“The Night Before”
“Four Christmases”
“Home Alone”
“Die Hard”
Last Christmas, that movie left me crying
Love actually!!!
Ernest saves Christmas, The Santa Clause 👍😃 a Christmas story, national lampoon’s Christmas vacation,
I watched "Klaus" recently and Loved it!..
Anything with Lacey Chabert
Love, Actually. Schmaltzy but heartwarming.
None, as they are a load of waddle!!
Elf, Eight Crazy Nights, Christmas Vacation
The Polar Express is my favourite.
On second thought, Home Alone (II) were better.
March of the Wooden Soldiers
With Laurel and Hardy? It’s a classic though
What constitutes a Christmas movie? Just the setting? Or does the plot have to be about Christmas in some way?
Elf obviously
I liked all 3 seasons of the princess switch. it was so good i was like falling for the plot.
Elf!!!
Bad Santa lol
The first one is my favorite but I’ve seen both.
The Family Stone. The only one I will watch.
It's A Wonderful Life
Scrooged... Bill Murray
A Christmas Story.
A Holiday Affair
