What is your favorite Christmas (or Hanuukah, etc) dinner? What are you cooking this holiday?

I am making a roast (beef), roasted potatoes, vegetables and a simple and light dessert. Nothing fancy, and I'm happy with that. My girls will make their own stuff, because they like to and I'm not going to try to (both vegetarians and pescatarian). Are you cooking or are your parents cooking your favorite meal for the holidays?

Funny you should ask both of those questions.

Normally we cook ham, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, corn, croissant, and candied yams. Pumpkin pie and apple pie and brownies for dessert.

This year, however, my wife is spending Christmas with her mom. So the kids voted that we grill teriyaki chicken and cheeseburgers.

That sounds like a great plan. I hope you enjoy wherever it is your live, I'm guessing it will be warm where you are (or at least cool). Teriyaki chicken sounds good. Yum.
