I love doing this with my little brother. He gets so excited baking cookies for him, and leaving them out.
He even more excited in the morning to get a note from Santa thanking him for the cookies and milk.

Well, I understand the cookies and milk, but reindeer don't EAT carrots. I mean, how would they? Why would an arctic animal eat a Persian plant?
The only real value would be to imply that he murdered Frosty, so nobody would keep him from their reindeer games EVER AGAIN. And that's more Halloween than Christmas.
We used to leave cookies and milk for Santa when my kids were little. It's kinda rude to leave a carrot for Rudolph and not the other reindeer don't you think? If they had a carrot at each house they would be so full that they wouldn't be able to fly. Little children wouldn't get their presents because they ate too many carrots. Lol. Just kidding. Never really thought about leaving carrots
usually, yes. My little brother bugs us if we don't, he hasn't found out yet who gives the gifts and who eats the cookies
Always makes me happy when kids get this in their childhood.

we never tried for that, we do things a bit differently here... and open up presents around midnight... we don't wait till the morning of the 25th, lol
Santa shows up by midnight and does have a share of the BBQ, lol
When my kids were growing up, we always left a glass of milk and a cookie for Santa. Leaving a carrot for Rudolph would be playing favoritism... Donner and Blitzen and the others would feel left out, so we never did that.
You are a good sister!
Santa gets freshly baked brownies and a can of Coke. Rudolph, I'm sorry to say, goes hungry at our house.
Lately, I just eat the cookies myself- but as a kid, I did. But, just the cookies - Santa shared them with the team.
Oh of course and I put on my sexy lingerie outfit and wait for him to arrive 💃
😹 she knew she was marrying a rock star
We used to but not this year. Unfortunately carrots are expensive and cookies too. Maybe again someday but we would have to see first unfortunately
When me and my sisters were younger, we did. We'd have a glass of milk & plate of Christmas cookies. Then we'd set out small carrots for the raindeer so they'd have something to eat as well.
Our chimney is dirty af and small... and birds live in there. So I think not as if santa wants to bring me anything, he'll leave it at my doorstep. :D<3
That does sound so fun. But I’ve never believed in Santa and always found it a little odd that people taught their kids to do that. I’m sure it is a lot of fun to leave cookies for Santa.
I used to do that when I was little. My mom used to read me this book, Santa Mouse and my sisters and I would also leave a piece of cheese on the plate alongside the milk, cookies, and the carrot
I do alongside an invite to stuff my stocking 😉
I remember my parents doing this when my Sister, and I were little, it was fun.
Reindeer like sugar cubes, same as horses do
I haven’t in a long time, lolz. I love the innocence of children though and how much excitement things like that can bring them. 🥰
That’s so adorable. I might try something like that with my nieces and nephews
Who will reach the counter, though?
You did tell me you had a 9yr old niece taller than you. Of course, that doesn’t mean she's tall enough to reach, still 🤭
Not today, we do our Christmas on New Years Eve. That's when the cookies out
I grew up on a ranch... Mom and I would leave cookies and milk for Santa and dad would leave 9 little bags of sweet vee for the reindeer, because they all deserve some yum
I jused to leave a beer out for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer.
Dont forget to leave him Cheese.
I would, but they’re already in my stomach. Also, did you know that the Tooth Fairy is Santa’s daughter?
Cakes out for Santa and bath tub of water for the reindeer
Cookies not cake
Nope I rather be the one munching on the cookies and drinking the milk.
Just for fun yeah sometimes
Rudolph is currently in my crockpot lol
I used to, when i was very young. My Santa also liked Fuzzy Navels. Ell oh ell!
The more you think about these childish stories the less the make sense haha.
Why dont you also put a railway stop shelter in front of your house for the polarexpress passing
I dont likę to Lie to The kids. XD really hate that, i love to Lie to their parents tho.
Sherry and a mince pie. My son loves it
I would if I didn't live alone.
