Is it lack of interest or not a texter?

I've been seeing a guy for about a month. He hates texting and always takes almost a day to text back or several hours. He also rarely initiates unless there is a specific reason. I became sick of this and decided to just call him one day - change the medium. He didn't answer, but called me right back to tell me he didn't have time to chat, but said he would call me later if he was able. I know he is visiting his family for the holidays, but I have not heard from him since. I have not initiated any conversation (since I called). He is active on social media, both posting and liking my stories. I guess, I'm not sure if there is interest or if this is just the bare minimum?

So even if he is interested, if he’s not big on texting then he definitely needs to start going out of his way to call you because it’s impossible to really make anything happen when there’s only one sided communication. I would try talking to him about this and if he doesn’t start putting in more effort to talk to you, I would end it.

If he has time to be on social media and posting and liking photos on there, he has time to talk to you on the phone or even send you a quick message.
