So far, no. I went out front and sat on the porch for about 2 hours, gave the bunny some bread and remembered about how Christmas, in this house, was ALWAYS jumpin' when my grandmother was still alive! Now, except for two dim lights, the place is dark, quiet, dead and, mostly, very boring. There's no more family to have Christmas with. No friends to invite me to their place, no place to put anybody if I invited them here.
With breakfast at 6:00, I watched the first hour of, "It's A Wonderful Life". For dinner in a couple hours, I'll watch the rest of it and then just go back to bed.

Two days before Christmas, I learned a family secret that has been hidden from me for about a year, although at least two of my three siblings knew. Learning about it made me so angry that I did not want to have Christmas with my family, so my fiancée and I stayed home and had a simple dinner by ourselves.

I am so grateful to have her in my life. She is very understanding and supportive.

yes, it was quiet and laid back. The thing that sucked was my dishwasher died.

Yes, it was nice. We had 16 people for Christmas dinner, including adults and kids. It was hectic but no one died.

yeppers, it was a nice quiet day. The temp was unseasonably warm, so we did a nice walk on a beach and looked for beach glass. We found some nice pieces of it.
