I will be 70 years old in January. I got married on April 27 to a wonderful woman, a great wife, and a faithful companion. My mother is still alive and today I will be having Thanksgiving dinner with her and her husband, my wife, my brother and his wife, and my nephew and his girlfriend. I am still healthy and active. I work full time and enjoy what I do. I am proud of my ancestors and my heritage. My life is good and I am thankful.

Thanksgiving is to feast with celebration of raiding indigenous peoples villages. Taking the women, children and men all separate from each other; while stealing the land and claiming it as theirs.

Was Thankful to Learn that being related by blood doesn't necessarily mean that they will act as family should. Thankful to have kept my circle small this year and thankful for the reminder to continue to hold on to the ones that made it in my circle.
