I think A Christmas Story is the best Christmas movie ever made. Have you seen it?

It was narrated by Gene Shepherd, the best storyteller/narrator in my lifetime. As a kid I used to listen to his radio show and it was mesmerizing. The movie is based on the 1966 book that he wrote called In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash. The movie was made in 1983, so it isn't as retro as the setting implies... made to look like 1950s/early 60s.

If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It's a piece of old school brilliance...
