Got to admit, I don't really have a favorite - or even unfavorite - Christmas movie.
Besides, Easter Sunday is my favorite holiday. For me, weird as it sounds, Christmas is a distant third after the aforementioned Easter Sunday and Thanksgiving. Christmas is to "in your face." It starts in July and ends in mid-January. Too much.
That said, I do remember "The Miracle on 34th Street." It is well done for its' time and has a nice theme. However, while it is a good movie, I would hardly rate it a favorite.
Anyhow, given everything I just wrote, maybe "Scrooge." He's my hero.
(Don't worry, that was a joke.)

One of my all time favourite underappreciated Christmas movies is The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. Not many people know of this one but it is absolutely grand. There's a stop motion film from the 80's and it was also made into an animated film in 2000.
My favourite horror Christmas films are Krampus and Black Christmas. I also enjoy all the classics such as Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, Jack Frost, etc.

I love watching this all throughout Christmas time because they look high on acid and trippy ASF and I enjoy Jack Frost from the same animators who made this even though Jack doesn't get the girl after being a human and getting a bag of gold, a castle, and horse for her but it's okay cause I can always go back and watch this and even though it's trippy and they all look like they sniffed angel dust, at least there's a happy ending with this so I'm happy 😊💜💜💜😊
Home Alone 1&2 are Christmas classics. Besides them, Jingle All The Way is my favorite. Such an underrated Christmas movie. I love it.

A toss up between The Muppet Christmas Carol and Krampus. Michael Caine nails the part of Scrooge. Totally nails it. But I loved the horror twist in Krampus, where an evil Santa takes revenge on those who disrespect the holidays. A bizarre attempt at a morality tale, of how human selfishness can destroy almost anything, but ultimately leads us to our own destruction. That, and excellent costume design made for a really cool villain.
A Christmas Carol (the George C. Scott one). It's the most accurate looking of all the Christmas Carol versions, and to me it has the most heart and emotion.
This movie has everything, humor, action, redemption, and a good dose of good American violence.
It has been my favorite Christmas movie for years.Old one is probably Home Alone... new one is Happiest Season
Does Rudolph count?
It's a Wonderful Life, a true classic. Played several times on various channels during the Christmas season every year.
The tinkling of the bell as angel Clarence gets his wings is a classic.- https://www.youtube.com/embed/Fupg2r1EJ9w
This is the classical Italian Christmars movie. Not because it has a Christmars theme, but because from 1989 it is scheduled as 24th December night movie, every year.
I have about 5 favorites.
If you are asking my top favorite if I could only pick one film it would be "It's a Wonderful Life"
Why? I just love it... it makes me feel good when I watch it.Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer-
I watched is a small child, and I'd still watch it.
I think Elf is my favorite. My dads favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. My dad is a workaholic farmer so he doesn’t like the winter because it stops him from working and doesn't like Christmas for that reason either lol
Jim Carreys Grinch followed by Must Be Santa, Holiday in Handcuffs, Jingle All the Way, Three Days and Daddys Home 2
black Christmas
I like 'A Christmas Carol' with George C. Scott back in 1984, it is more dedicated to Charles Dicken's novel, great acting, great costumes, and scenery. It was made for Tv, but fora made for tv movie, it really hit the mark.
The 1951 version of A Christmas Carol starring Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044008/Die Hard, The Santa Clause, and It's A Wonderful Life.
A Grandpa For Christmas because it has a happy ending and it could teach us to always find the time to be with our loved ones because you don’t know what comes next.
It's been 74 years since "It's a Wonderful Life" was released. I'm completely convinced that it's still the greatest Christmas movie of all time
Polar Express
I also love Scrooged and The Grinch.Though not specifically billed as a Christmas film per se, I love 94's Little Women. There are several winter scenes and Christmas is featured. I watch it every year on Christmas day after we eat.
It’s a Wonderful Life. It’s old and corny but it doesn’t feel like Christmas until I watch it. I used to watch it with my dad when I was a kid.
