A Christmas Carol comes to mind, and it is very meaningful. There are loads of guys like Ebenezer Scrooge today regrettably. Charles Dickens was a genius too.
Most other Christmas films do not do much for me, but I did enjoy Elf.

Well, others have already pointed out how "Die Hard" *is* a Christmas film, but does no one else enjoy the story of Ralphie in the late 1940s or 1950s, and how he finally gets his coveted Daisy Red Ryder BB gun?

And defeats the evil bully Scott Farkus?

Every year, I watch "Better Off Dead", "Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer", "It's A Wonderful Life", "Meet John Doe", "Miracle On 34th Street" and, on Christmas day, I MIGHT watch, "The Snow Queen".
I could never be so bored that I would want to watch a Christmas film.
What do you mean?
@Nikki1989 The hallmark Channel has them on every day.
Even in December, Nikki?
@exitseven We don't have TV.
my faves for sure is A Nightmare Before Christmas

My Christmas movies are Die Hard and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (the original cartoon with Boris Karloff).
Yeah, I was planning to write Die Hard, lol.
Die Hard
The same here... you were faster :P
@IslaTheWitch 😊😊😊😊
I guess it would be National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It’s a little heavy on the slapstick comedy for my tastes, but Chevy Chase is hilarious as Clark Griswold, plus I love Cousin Eddie😂
https://www.youtube.com/embed/L9ZjwYItAuMOh, honorable mention to Scrooged with Bill Murray, that’s great too. I’m not so into “sweet”, I much prefer “funny.”
It's A Wonderful Life (1946) ... with the ending scene where Angel Clarence gets his wings as the bell sounds.
That's a good question. Only one I can think of at the moment is The Grinch (2018 version).
The Grinch
Probably March of the wooden soldiers
I love that!
@legalboxers I forgot to put down “A Christmas Story” , you’ll shoot your eye out kid 😊
@Likes2drive I seen that the other day... lol.. Classic. Sticking his tongue on a metal pole...
@legalboxers Yeah another funny part
"Elf" and "The Grinch" is hilarious I also like "The Snowman" because it's so beautifully done.
That's the wordless illustration one from the early 1980s. British too. Right?
Yep I think it was Reynolds Briggs or at least his name is something like that.
Babes in Toyland / The March of the Wooden Soldiers, primarily because it was a family tradition each year while my parents were still alive. My mom watched it with her parents growing up.
Favorite Christmas movie independent of the tradition? Die Hard.
Too many ties. Ernest Saves Christmas, Charlie Brown Christmas special, Garfield Christmas special, home alone I and II and III, The Santa Clause, a Christmas story, frosty the snowman, ‘‘twas the night before Christmas
I really like The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Christmas Chronicles, A Christmas Special: Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and Jingle All The Way
The little lord is cute...
But I don't need special films...
Actualy love is ok
Probably the 1954 version of A Christmas Carol.
A Christmas Story
Scrooged
A Nightmare Before Christmas
Home Alone 2
Raging Rudolph
THAT ONE. But mainly because I don't know any others :(
National Lampoon Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon 1 ( takes place during the holidays).
Good old "It's a Wonderful Life".. But I also really like the "Home Alone" movies..
