Should I be worried about him not replying back to Christmas text?

I’ve been dating a guy for a little over a month. Anyways, he’s been consistent and reliable with plans etc. Although, it seems something has changed a bit as he seems overwhelmed with something causing him to not be as attentive as he was earlier. Last week I mentioned this. He called me and apologized and said he’s been dealing with a lot of crap and hasn’t been feeling 100% and that he would call me sometime next week and wished me well on my trip home for the holidays. He did mention that he wasn’t looking forward to the next couple of weeks (holidays). I wished him “Merry Christmas” but he didn’t reply back. A day later I sent a text saying everything alright? It’s been a few hours since…no reply. Should I be worried?

If he’s just ignoring you then yes…. I can understand if he’s busy with Christmas I understand not responding immediately I can’t stand people who feel entitled to someone’s time when it’s not a emergency.

But just tell him how you feel about what he’s doing. Express that you understand if he’s busy but that if he’s loosing interest to just tell you. That you care for him and are sorry there is a lot going on. But that you don’t want to be ignored or ghosted. Tell him if he needs a break from talking just say so…. And that you won’t contact him until he reaches out to you if that’s what he needs. But not to leave you in the dark.

Well you hardly know him, but that’s not good not replying back to a text especially at Christmas
