Should I be upset the guy I’m talking to didn’t text me merry Christmas?

He didn’t text me happy Thanksgiving either I had to and if he doesn’t text me merry Christmas should I? I feel like he doesn’t care about me if he doesn’t I mean he can be in Facebook but can’t wish me a merry Christmas after he tells me I mean a lot to him?

You are correct, he should do that, I do that with friends even. he does have kids, so he is swamped... I get that, but something if you mean a lot. Men slip up sometimes, I have.. like I wished my xGF happy birthday the day before, then the day of, I totally forgot. she was so mad.

there is a point where if someone can't give you enough attention and time to meet your love language, need for security, direction , etc.. that it doesn't really work. it is a long suffering road if not and have to be very happy and secure in yourself.

People in your generation obsess about things like "if I text her 'Merry Christmas,' will she think I'm too clingy or needy?" If you want to talk to him, CALL him. Texting is GREAT for "can you pick up a gallon of milk on the way home?" Is it AWFUL for conducting a conversation that has emotional significance.

I wouldn't worry about if. If you're casually seeing someone usually they won't send that type of stuff. If this Is your partner then I would be concerned

If he agrees to more than the guy your talking to and still doesn't text you then talk to him. I text my woman before bed when I get up etc. The only time I don't is when I think she might be sleeping. You look American. You posted this before 10am. I'm still laying in bed. I still didn't answer my dad's merry Christmas text that woke me up 2 hours ago...

Maybe he doesn't care about you anymore or haven't truly loved you and if you had sex with him, well you gave him your everything and maybe he's bored now...

If he truly loves you, he will never forget such things and also be present with you on such holidays.
