My boyfriend of 3 years didn't text me Merry Christmas. Should I just move on?

I've been with this guy for 3 and a half years now and this Thanksgiving I wished him a Happy Thanksgiving and he only heart reacted to the text. He didn't say it back until the next day. I told him at first I was a little hurt but thanked him for wishing me a happy Thanksgiving. I told him it meant a lot. Then, this Christmas, he didn't say Merry Christmas. Even after I told him how just in November it means a lot to just make that small gesture on holidays. It only takes 5 seconds to send a text like that. I'm really hurt and want to know if I should just let this guy go since the effort is clearly not there even when I communicate with him about it being important to me. Last year, he sent me a quick text on these holidays but this year he didn't.

Seems extreme to throw away 3 years of being with someone over one missed text. If you have other issues then yes maybe you should part ways but them not sending you 2 words doesn’t seem like enough reason to end it

Completely ignore him for a month and see what happens. Zero contact. No text, no socials, no phone. Make yourself unavailable. He lacks dedication or maybe doesn't care.
