I luv horror movies! Christmas… meh. But when they come together, it can be magical! I just watched a couple good ones. I highly recommend “The Mean One”! It’s more homage than spoof. The beast looks a lot like the main character from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), and this movie hits a lots of the same beats as its inspiration. There’s a fair bit of humor too as they dance around certain names and words in order to avoid copyright infringement. Ell oh ell!

The other one is called “Better Watch Out”, and it’s more thriller than horror. It’s only Christmasy because of the setting. The story can take place almost anywhere at any time of year. It’s definitely gripping. I would say that it’s not quite as entertaining as “The Mean One”, but it’s still worth a watch.
