nah, not really... our mass gatherings are very traditional and 90% family, a lot of them like to get something new and wear it on that day yes... but I am not one of them I just go as good as... Holidays

yes... we all do, whether in person or online (since some live far away) we do meet or keep in touch before or after holidays, even get together for a bit when possible one of our traditions... Holidays

tamales... since the very first hours of the 24th, and even before the sun rises... all the way till New Years Eve, there's always tamales coming and going Holidays

hmm, it is a tie... between sharing the great food (main dishes, of all the food lol) and also when the little ones start opening up their presents which is something we do between midnight... Holidays

my grandma was always very clear on this from December 12 (Lady of Guadalupe's birthday) and all the way up to the 24th December at 9PM... which is baby Jesus birthday and mass, is all about... Holidays

we all do.. but it is a family thing, and a different tradition down here not only a Christmas dinner will be cooked, but also other dishes and preparations and on top of that, there is... Holidays
