What age did you find out Santa wasn’t real?

I think I was 9 or 10 when I found out. Santa left me a letter and I noticed it was my mom’s handwriting. He also wrapped the gifts in the same wrapping paper that my mom used so I just put two and two together 😭

My daughter is 6 and I know she’s really young but I don’t know if I wanna continue the Santa thing much longer tbh. She’s already starting to question it lol. I was telling her how Santa watches her all year and she was like “that’s not possible” and rolled her eyes. Like damn okay miss know It all 💀
i took her to get her pic with him and she was like “that’s not the real Santa. His beard was fake.” girl be quiet 😭

I usually only put Santa’s name on smaller gifts anyways. With bigger gifts I like to say that they were from me bc I’m not letting Santa take credit for a $300 Barbie dream house. Nah, that was from ME. You’re welcome.

I think I was maybe 7 when I asked my mom why she still pretend that Santa is real, especially since we are Jewish! (Well my mom and I are, my dad isn’t. The whole thing never really made any sense, I mean I saw lots and lots of UPS and FedEx trucks, and they had trucks. I remember watching how long it took him to unload our packages and walk up the driveway, then drop them off and walk back to the truck. I honestly remember using the UPS guy as an example as to how it would be impossible to deliver to every single child on earth presents, and IF they were from Santa, how come the had from mommy and daddy on the packages? It just seemed like bullshit to little 7yo me. And that was the end of Santa!

i was 8 and my parents forgot to make santa looked like he passed and they made me wait in the basement for santa to come. i thought it was a little sus so i sneaked up stairs and i saw my parents setting everything up and my dad eating the santa cookies and writing a note for me. at first didn't think that ment santa wasn't real and that he just didn't come this year. i told my parents that but my dad slipped up and its then that i got it that santa didn't exist. i was pretty mad

Ah, the mere trifles do the trick, like Holmes elementarily solved his cases. I never did believe in Satan Claws, I mean, Sandy Claws, I mean, oy, whatever his name is spelt, because I wasn’t indoctrinated into believing in him. I did believe in Grandpa Frost, a Russian Santa-like figure, but I stopped early, when I learnt how he climbed through the window and placed presents under the holiday tree, and how my siblings didn’t get the presents they asked for in the letter I wrote. Tell your daughter the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Santa is real, but it’s the parent (s) responsibility to make him real. I found that out around the age of seven, the receipt 🧾 was left inside of one of my gifts.

I would say about 5-ish. One of my brothers showed me the bicycles that we were getting for Christmas that were hidden behind a big tarp. LOL

I think I was 9 and my older sibling told me in front of my mother who responded with, "Oh, you know about Santa?"

My oldest child was questioning around 5 years old. I said, "Santa stops coming when you stop believing." Now my kids are 17 and over and insisting they all still believe in Santa Claus. 👀

I was like 6, my grandpa use to dress up as Santa on Christmas day every year and give us presents. One year I saw his tshirt under the jacket and asked my mum.
