3 Ways to Color Your Wedding

Most wedding palettes involve one or two colors, or soft colors, ormuted colors, but if you are one such bride and groom who love color and want to see tons of it at your wedding, here are some of the best ways to use color in your wedding.

1. Dip Dye/Ombre

This is a way to infuse your wedding with color, but still have enough of a break so that it's not totally in your face color. Dip dying is just taking usually white fabric, and dipping it in color dye to a point where some of the white or other color is still left. You can then dip dye other colors to get an ombre effect doing the same, by repeating with a new slightly lighter or darker color when the first has dried. For dresses, I'd suggest you go to professionals to have this done unless you're doing just one color. You can also apply this theme to other items in your wedding, like creating a gradient of rose petals in all shades of one color for your walk down the aisle or have a cake with different shades of your favorite colors.

2. Cultural Wedding

Outside of the US, in many cultures around the world, weddings are often celebrated with explosions of colors. Bring your culture into your wedding by wearing traditional dress, and decorating with traditional wedding colors and decoration. Don't forget to include guests by requesting they wear their own traditional gear or providing some for them.

3. Rainbow wedding

This is the ultimate in color explosions. Use every single color on the rainbow to create your special day.

Haaaaaaaaaaa! I kept thinking the same thing! The bride didn't use up any pink AND she has two shades of blue, so surely she could have doubled up. Even black would have been a kinder option. It's literally so distracting to me seeing here there in her poop dress.

Either that, or she let her bridesmaids choose what color/dress they wanted to wear, and she was like I want brown, and the bride was like, geezus Becky, brown? Really? And Becky was all, but l like brown and YOU said, we could pick what we wanted, so why can't I wear brown? And the bride was like, I just want you to know that the only reason you're here is because your mom knows my mom and she made the wedding cake for us in exchange for us letting you be in the wedding. That's it. Just know, that when we take pictures, you WILL stand on the end away from me, because I don't want that stupid brown dress anywhere near me.
