My Prayer - Don't Be Judgmental. Hope You Like It :)

I know I know, some of you may be sick of religion but I am in a romantic mood right now and my heart is bursting with something that I have always prayed to God about. So thought I would write a letter.

Considering I have been alone and my heart is lonely, I ask that you not judge. This just me me being whimsical.

Dear Lord,

I pray that when the new year rolls around, I pray that you would help me meet my soul mate. Someone who would complement me (not give me compliments but someone who matches my personality- fyi)

I pray that You would guide me to him in any way that you choose.

I pray that he would be loyal

Loves me madly forever

Have an adventurous spirit

Will not give up when times get tough and look to fix every single problem with me

I don't care what he looks like, what he does for a job, but I pray that you would bless us abundantly and may we grow up in household pleasing to You.

I pray that you would help me grow into the woman he is praying for, I pray that you would help me be a woman of virtue and of strength.

I pray that he would be understanding of me and I would be understanding of him. I pray that he would inspire me and though I work hard and try to do the best I can, I ask that he would be my muse and push me past my limit.

I pray that he would be kind towards me and everyone else and he would never hurt me in any way. I pray that he would bring out the best in me forever

This is just a preference but I pray that he would honor You. I pray that we would never grow up mentally and just be in love with each other. I pray for an unbreakable intimacy with one another.

I pray that You would help me meet him in the new year. Amen.

Why would other people care about your prayer? That’s something between you and your god unless you just want to be praised for being a believer, and somehow that makes you better. Which is prideful..; a sin.

I have agree. God rewards prayers in secret. Ill put up verse later but. Yeah jesus spoke about this stuff.

I so appreciate the way you seek what is good & right. Whenever I hear a prayer of this sort, I think of Dion's song "My Prayer For You." It is one of my all time favorite songs. I hope you listen to it.

And let me also add that guys you mentioned above exsist. I myself included but hey.

Nother thing is effective prayers. Yes we need to get this far. Effective prayers are prayers that dont boast about ones desires. Not saying your not going to get your wish but 3 main ways to get effective prays.
Worship.
Speaking in tongues
And reading psalms hymns and prayers and praying your own way.

For answers.. you need to say in jesus name amen. Not jus amen.( i can explain why if you want)
