Well, it's somewhat sweet and wrong in a way. I get what your saying. I don't think it's entirely wrong, but it would probably be best that you tell her first. There are plenty of women who keep themselves virgins for their marriage, mostly for religious reasoning. However, not all the time does the religion require the male to be a virgin as well. It is perferred, but not necessary in some cases. if she's okay with it, what's the harm? Its somewhat flattering, but yeah you're right about the double standard. In any case, good luck.

Thanks. I was very close once to being with a young beautiful girl at my church. She was the most beautiful and i was the most sought after bachelor. But i decided i wasn't ready emotionally. she's engaged to someone else now, but i can't help to think of her here n there.

+1 yIt depends on the woman.
Virgin means no vaginal intercourse. She could have done other things...
A virgin might want to experience other men. After marriage she's likely to cheat for this reason.
A virgin might have loved someone else, given her soul to this other guy.
... Another women who might not be a virgin might be due to rape.

+1 yPersonally I find it hypercritical to expect chastity and virtue from someone when you're not holding yourself to those same standards.
And I completely disagree that women lose parts of themselves with previous lovers, that hasn't been my experience whatsoever.
But I have no interest or intention of marrying you 😉 And really this is only going to hinder your life having these unrealistic expectations so meh720 Reply- +1 y
Why would you marry me, we've never met. I feel like this is something i can ask for, because chasity isn't a virtue with men. Its more of a stigma.
- +1 y
I'm saying that because I have no interest in marrying you it's none of my business what you prefer. It impacts me in no way so my opinion on it doesn't really matter
Virginity is valued by some, as is not sleeping around. Just sounds like you're trying to excuse your behaviour because you want to have sex with women, just not marry one who has had the same freedom you're giving yourself. - +1 y
Not every woman views sex as freedom. Lots of women just want someone to hold at night.
- +1 y
You know thats true. Party is scene is fun, but there are still wholesome girls that dont care about that. Theyd rather have a family and a picket fenced house. Is that so wrong or am i just a sexist?
- +1 y
I don't think many virginal women who haven't loved a man before will see it that way
- +1 y
What makes you say that?
- +1 y
And be direct, im not interested in deciphering codes rn.
- +1 y
You only want a woman who is a virgin who hasn't loved a man before. She very well may have loved someone without having sex, they aren't mutually exclusive. So she has saved her emotions and her body for one person. That's not easy in today's society, it's a conscious effort to do it so she has worked hard for her beliefs.
You have not. You have not kept your body sacred for one women, or your heart if you believe sex and love come together. You haven't put any effort into your virtue and you've sullied other women by having sex with them when you believe woman lose a part of themselves when they sleep with a man which is disrespectful seeing as you wouldn't give those women consideration as a life partner.
The two values and lifestyles will rarely overlap, so your pool of choices is much smaller - +1 y
Well those women choose the life of sleeping around. There is a double standard here. Men are less attached when it comes to sex, and there are women that are the same way. I want a woman with very high discipline.
- +1 y
Because i can offer the same in companionship
- +1 y
But again, and you know its true. All women want to be appreciated, loved, and respected.
- +1 y
Men who have the same values as the girls you want can also offer companionship. The only double standard is the one your saying you want; you want to be able to have sex but would never consider a relationship with a woman who does. You want someone with discipline and strong morals with their genitals but you refuse to live by that standard as well.
Of course women want to be appreciated, loved and respected - that's not disputed. But women who are sexually active get those things in healthy relationships anyway. We don't need to be virgins to expect those things, they are the basis for long lasting respect and affection.
- +1 y
You confused me that one.
- +1 y
After each heartbreak a girl loses who she is and increasingly becomes bitter. Im not interested in being with a girl who i have to constantly worry she's cheating.
- +1 y
Not everyone, and then your criteria could be changed to exclude bitter girls. Not just sexually active ones.
My point is that your criteria and expectations for how disciplined a woman should be to be with you are high, and in today's society quite rare. For example there may be 5 woman out of every 100 that meet it.
What you have to offer, is not rare. Companionship, affection and respect can be given by almost any many, so 90 out of 100. you're not willing to make any sacrifices to increase your value, and there is no discipline for yourself but you expect it from her. You have to compete against 89 other guys for those 5 girls.
Anyway, as I said I find the expectation hypercritical but anyone can prefer what they want. I just think your chances of getting that are low when you're not willing to work for it - +1 y
Those things by a strong alpha male? Yeah what i have to offer is extremely rare.
- +1 y
Trust me those 89 guys wouldn't be competition.
- +1 y
Lol yeah ok. I don't subscribe to any of that bullshit.
Good luck with it all 😊 - +1 y
no offence OP but almost every thing you said is just pure ignorance and is just completely narcissistic.
- +1 y
Thanks for that diagnosis. But im actually a very decent person. Im just not the type you meet everyday.
Im really tired of men asking questions about this. You already know what you want so just do it. Stop making us read your thoughts, disagree with those that are opposite and then try to impose your thoughts like you're the protector and so awesome. These are cultural and old thoughts that many are aware of. Go get the virgin and stop making us read this tripe.

You can desire whatever you want, but the reasoning behind it is very stupid, and yeah, I'll say wrong too. It is pretty judgmental of you... Not to mention hypocritical.
A part of them is taken away? Really... So, they are damaged goods now? Not worthy of love...
No, I think when a virgin gets laid, they take a piece of you :(
Also, you realize that many women aren't in love with their first right?26 Reply- +1 y
No thats not what i meant.
- +1 y
Non virgin women are still worthy of love. I haven't been in love yet. So i still have that left.
- +1 y
Thats so wrong. All women want is to be loved and appreciated. Some women want to work and advance themselves, that's fine. But deep down that's what all women want. Its not about keeping them dumb (because women are naturally smarter than men) but keeping them satisfied. And I know how to do that.

+1 yi don't think what u wishes is wrong... honestly this is what i wish too... but nowadays it's very hard to find a virgin, specially at USA... so yeah i guess it's valid what u want for a wife, since girls want some very specific for a guy to be her husband...
but still what you have done in the past, depending to which extent u have done that, needs to be addressed properly... it would be very unfair for other men who would eventually marrying those chicks you had sex before... that's why you need to do something to repair your past sins if you really want a successful marriage with your beloved virgin one... good luck10 Reply
+1 ywell thats ok if you want a virgin wife the question is can you be faithful and loyal to this girl when you had multiple partners let's be honest a virgin wife still needs to learn a lot in bed, are you sure that you will not get bored? you are used to good experienced girls in bed make sure you have to be patience with her.
27 Reply- +1 y
You'd be surprised how bad most girls are in bed. But I've never cheated before. Boredom i think could be a problem.
- +1 y
I still would never cheat. My whole family is like that, we're latinos we dont cheat.
- +1 y
well that's good tho that you never had a history of cheating. well i think it is much more interesting if you marry a virgin because why? i think it is fun exploring and discovering things together than in a experienced one
- +1 y
Thats true, i can't deny that.
- +1 y
yeah you know ok you marry a experienced one you know what to expect but for a virgin girl. you can teach and she can learn more stuff you might be surprised that she might be better than those girls you had sex with before. cause you are like a master training a newbie hahahaha
- +1 y
Thats exactly it actually lol.
- +1 y
hahahaha yeah lol :) :) :)
+1 ya woman waiting wants a guy who is waiting. this has nothing to do with gender pints of view. its the view of people who believe in saving themselves for marriage., meaning they believe their partner should save themselves.
why would you think they would feel differently about your virginity than theirs?111 Reply- +1 y
what if she wants a whole husband why should she settle for broken guys. you made a choice you did not wait so you limited your ability to marry a virgin. she waited why should she settle for a guy who did not care enough to wait? why didn't you keep yourself whole?
- +1 y
Because im the protector. A man is supposed to gain experience before he starts a family. Why would a virgin girl want a weak man to have babies with? What could he possibly offer her?
- +1 y
Im sorry but there is a double standard here. Men need to grow strong and wise through experience. That involves having sex with estranged women. A girl chooses what life she wants at an early age, whether she wants to sleep around, and be "independent" or wants to start a family.
- +1 y
Actually I know a lot of girls who are saving themselves but are ok with their future husbands being experienced. I think the idea of saving yourself for marriage is stupid, and the people who do it, well they dumb too, but to save it just to say you did? Well they take the cake.
- +1 y
@SwoIDishWasher i have just read your comments above... and that's quite sad since you, like many American men nowadays, hold a typical "protector alpha man" mentality... there are lots of wrong assumptions in your thought to begin with but only time and wisdom may enlighten you... a man does not need sexual experience to become a good father or a good husband...
but as i said before, nothing wrong to look for a virgin, but you need to acknowledge first that pre-marital sex is wrong in many levels and atone for the sins you committed in the past related to it... otherwise im not so sure that even if you get a chaste innocent virgin to marry will make marriage works... there are guys who married virgin girls and now they are divorced... - +1 y
@KnightCross There is no way you are 13.
- +1 y
@KnightCross i do see your point of view. But i don't agree with it. How can a man be wise without experience? Its not the job of the women to lead the house hold. I have so much to offer a virgin female in terms of leadership, and loyalty. If I can find a virgin girl that chooses me as her first, she would never have to suffer a heartbreak. I dont cheat and i dont lie (i might troll) but i dont lie.
- +1 y
Really its all perception, and preference. Im not trying to offend, although it seems a bit taboo.
- +1 y
@SwolDishWasher a man need experience with woman to be wise, but he doesn't necessarily needs to fuck dozen of girls to be wiser. actually he doesn't need to have sex with a single girl to know how to deal and lead her. he just needs enough intention and virtues which can qualify him as ready to raise a family. and as you claimed before, you feel yourself as ready for that, good for you, but remember there were other ways to be "ready" as you are.
as you said later, it's correct, the man is supposed to be the head of the woman in the same way Christ is the head of the man. i feel deep inside you, you have a bit of regret and self-doubts if you are asking this question. that's a good sign though.. because that's the beginning for you to acknowledge what you have done in the past and to become wiser towards the moral implications of sex - +1 y
Sleeping with many women has just been apart of my journey. Its insignificant compared to everything else I've learned.
- +1 y
you could have learned that "everything else" without sleeping with many women... if that part of your journey was insignificant then u didn't need to have included that to it...
To want that? Sure.
To reject a woman you really like cause she isn't a virgin? Shallow.
You dont have to be a virgin to be capable of only loving one person.20 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 ySure no problem with that, but let her have multiple partners before she marries you and after that she will remain a virgin for you, as you can pretend she was one when she married you.
Kinda hypocritical to want a virgin as a wife when you continue sleeping around.00 ReplyBeing a hypocrite is indeed wrong.
But I guess there are some girls who are virgin and wants a non virgin, not sure though.11 Reply- +1 y
I know it's a little more common. Again i just want to be her first love. I can still offer her that since I've never had a deep connection with a woman before.
You know what you want great. But think of how easy it is to lie to someone. Unless your going to marry a 10y in this day and age. Good luck. I'm sure there are some out there that are if age.
00 ReplyYou do know she could always just lie about the virgin part. And is in it cause you have the pure heart she's been looking for.
