Serious question, why are military guys desperate for marriage?

Since they travel and sleep with as many girls as they want.

Well, when I was in, the main reason why guts were dumb enough to get married was to get out of the barracks and to get extra money for food.

They probably want to settle down and start a family because you dont know how long you have left when you are fighting a war. Being in the military makes you realise that and you want to have sla family to go home to.

bonuses, also they need that moral support... it's nice to know you have a women and a kid waiting for you back at home, makes the job easier at times
